The Gilroy Chamber of Commerce Government Relations Committee serves as the voice of the local business community by monitoring public policy, fostering relationships with elected officials, and advocating for a strong local economy.
The committee provides a forum where business leaders, elected officials, city staff, and community partners can discuss issues that impact businesses in Gilroy. Through education, collaboration, and advocacy, we work to ensure the business community has a seat at the table on important local, regional, and state issues.

- Reviews local, regional, and state issues affecting businesses.
- Hosts presentations from elected officials, government agencies, and community organizations.
- Provides recommendations to the Chamber Board of Directors on advocacy priorities.
- Encourages civic engagement and informed decision-making.
- Serves as a resource for Chamber members seeking information on public policy issues.
